“The Logistics of Tomorrow—Between Aspiration and Reality”
Together with MÜLLER – DIE LILA LOGISTIK, we once again hosted the SCM Dialog 2025 in Ottmarsheim this year. Under the theme “Logistics of Tomorrow—Between Aspiration and Reality,” four speakers highlighted the challenges that need to be overcome and how solutions can be successfully implemented:
Christian Schorndorfer from DÜRR DENTAL spoke about intelligent logistics concepts for A, B, and C-part management and demonstrated how production, inventory, resources, and the supply chain are optimally managed at DÜRR DENTAL to achieve maximum transparency.
Stephan Feldmann from Philips Medical Systems presented on current requirements for medical device manufacturers and their supply chains. In doing so, he highlighted how challenges in the healthcare sector are increasing—due, among other things, to complex regulatory requirements and rising protectionism.
Lukas Weber, Branch Manager at Lila Logistik in Althengstett, provided practical answers and solutions for the supply chains of medical device manufacturers. He explained what it means to operate as a logistics service provider in the medical device technology sector.
Kai Albus from MANN+HUMMEL provided insights into successful inventory management in global distribution logistics for the automotive aftermarket. The focus was on the balancing act between improving service levels and reducing inventory.
